Penn And Teller: Fool Us is a competition for magic TV show that features magicians who perform tricks before American veteran duo Penn & Teller. The initial season was nimbly hosted by Jonathan Ross,and the 3rd season onwards the Fool Us Hostess Hannigan.
Each episode starts off by introducing the reason for the series. Penn & Teller come out and take their seats towards center stage,and the hopeful performers perform their magic before them,in front of a live studio audience. After each show,Penn & Teller privately talk while the host interview the magicians. Penn & Teller then reveal if they know how the trick was performed,in a cryptic manner,usually by using words or by noting down the procedure and presenting it privately to the magicians to confirm,so as to avoid divulging the secrets of the trick.
Season eleven will air on October 11,2022.

Fool Us was filmed at Fountain Studios in London,England (season one) as well as the Penn & Teller Theater at Las Vegas (season two onward). Following each show,if Penn & Teller cannot figure out how the trick was accomplished,then the magician(s) who performed the trick are awarded the Fool Us trophy and a five-star trip to Las Vegas to perform as the opening act in Penn & Teller's show,also at The Rio Hotel & Casino.

At the conclusion of each program,Penn & Teller perform a unique magic act.
In the initial season,Jonathan Ross served as a temporary replacement for Penn and Teller's hosting duties,but they returned for the second season.

From Season 3 onward,from season three,the top 10 performers who fooled Penn & Teller are invited back for an episode special of Fool Us in which they each will show off their tricks again and attempt to fool Penn & Teller for an additional $15000 cash prize.
Even though they remain quiet and still throughout the course during the performance,Penn and Teller can communicate with each by making subtle gestures. They also may communicate with the magician who performs and ask them to repeat an action or provide more information.
